From the Pastor

“Where are you from?” is a term we often hear.  People often ask us that question to find out our origins and to develop common bonds.  We answer in various ways, including with our place of birth or with our most recent setting.

I have found myself answering that question with, “I am from a very energetic and compassionate church.”  I answer in that manner not so much to surprise people, (it really does that) but to share how I and others from our church are being molded.  You see, we are being molded not so much from where we have come as much as where we are going.  After all, does it matter whether you come from the city or from the farm?  From this state or another?  Not if your focus is upon where you are going.

I invite you to join us in letting the present setting of an energetic and compassionate church help mold you into a person who can focus upon your future.  With God’s help and the support of your church it will also be an energetic and compassion filled future.
